Fire in the Belly

step 1) Lie back

Lie on your back with your arms extended overhead, palms facing each other. Bend your knees and place your feet flat on the foot, hip-width apart.

step 2) Squeeze those abs

In one explosive move, contract your abs and curl your head and shoulders off the floor, sweeping your arms over your head and down to your sides, with your hands reaching toward your feet and palms facing your thighs. Hold for a count of 4. Slowly release back to the starting position.


You’ll feel it

From your breasts to your hips. Unlike most ab curls and crunches, which are done slowly, this move taps into your deepest muscle fibers to propel your torso off the floor. Your entire abdominal area will be giving a shout.

Kacy’s coaching tips

Keep your movements controlled. You shouldn't be flopping up and down off the floor like a fish out of water. Burst up quickly and powerfully. Hold in the curl position with your body completely quiet. Then ease back to the floor, staying in control.
