step 1) Stand in your power
Stand in the power position with your feet wider apart than shoulder-width apart. Hold your staff overhead with your hands also positioned wider than shoulder-width apart, palms facing forward.
step 2) Bend at your waist
Bend to the right side, reaching toward the floor with the end of your staff.
step 3) Flip your staff
Now flip the staff so that the end that was pointing toward the floor is now pointing toward the ceiling
step 4) Sweep across
From that position, sweep the dowel to the left across the front of your body until you're bent to the left side, facing forward. Raise your body back to the starting position. Repeat for a full set starting to the right and then switch sides.

From your toes to your fingertips. This exercise makes every muscles buzz as it challenges stability, strength and flexibility, all in one sweeping move.
