Eat from the Earth
Your plate should resemble a garden, filled with plant-based foods and bright, rich colors. Why? Because the pigments that give those fruits and vegetables and herbs and spices their gorgeous colors are actually potent antioxidants that heal your working muscles and keep you healthy.
In a report from the University of Oslo, which tested more than 1,000 common foods and beverages for their antioxidant potency, every single one of the top 10 foods comes from a plant. Check out this list, including the serving size needed to get a healthy dose, and stock up your pantry.
Aim to eat one or two of these foods every day.
